Jumping on the 'vintage is the new black' bandwagon, Topshop has recruited Barbara Hulanicki to design a collection which launches today. Hot on the heels of Kate Moss's Liberty print collection, Barbara's range is full of alternative animal prints and quirky little doodles of ladybirds; very 1960s. Barbara founded BIBA in 1964, creating the forerunner of high street shops like Topshop, and one of the first brands to focus on the shopping experience itself, with stores becoming a hangout for stars like Mick Jagger and David Bowie. If you're a fan of Barbara's, then you should definitely book your ticket to The Port Eliot Literature festival, held in the grounds of a gorgeous Cornwall castle. Within the walled garden, Babs will be helping festival goers revive their vintage wardrobes.
