Time for Tea

As most of you probably know, I've started working for Vintage Secret, an online vintage boutique run by Naomi Thompson(pictured below). As well as selling gorgeous frocks to customers online, Naomi also gives one on one style consultations and often opens up her home/showroom for folk to have a good old browse.Yesterday we had two brides visit us; one looking for a wedding dress, the other for three bridesmaids' dresses. You can see some of our vintage bridal gowns pictured here, as well as an array of tea dresses from the 30s, 40s and 50s, showcasing a range of amazing floral prints which are soooo this season! The great thing about buying one of these dresses is that you can guarantee you'll be the only one wearing it;something you definitely can't count on if you opt for Kate Moss's latest Topshop Liberty prints range. Fuelled by tea and cake, it was pretty sweet to spend the day living vicariously through other people playing dress up.
Time for Tea are also big fans of all things vintage, and this week they are opening a pop-up vintage tea shop at 47 Lamb's Conduit street from tomorrow until the 25th, 12-7pm.They promise vintage jazz, refined chatter and FREE tea and cake- what more could a girl want? Apart from a vintage wedding dress maybe...
