I've been doing some press for The Print Club London pop-up shop which opened last night; the Brick Lane venue looked amazing and despite the frightful weather, the turn out was huge!I'd already seen some of the prints that were going ot be on sale, but hadn't seen the amazing Pure Evil 'Where the Wild Things Are' print(above)- LOVE it!
Not only was there mulled wine to reward those who'd made the effort to come, but Print Club members were also screenprinting outside the shop, and handing out free screenprint samples. Above: Two of TPCL founders, Kate Newbold-Higginson (left) and Rose Stallard.
Downstairs t-shirts, t-towels, and other likely Christmas presents were on sale too, as well as gift vouchers for beginners workshops which you can get here if you know someone who'd like to try their hand at screenprinting. I'm going to be attending a workshop in the New Year, so I'll let you know how it goes!
SO hard to choose, but in the end I opted for the Butterfly print by Ministry of Love and Rose Stallard's A-Z of musicians, both pictured here. The shop is open for the rest of the weekend, so head down there for last minute Christmas shopping, prints start at £35.
