With the big British heritage brands like Burberry and Mulberry, you can always expect to see some traditional fabrics on the LFW catwalks, but this season even the most youthful, up and coming designers embraced the old fashioned- with tweeds, dogtooths and tartans all over the collections. If you're nervous about wearing print- one of the other big trends- then these sort of fabrics are a less daunting way of adding something to your wardrobe to break up block colours.
